Hyaluronic acid to moisturise intimate tissues and improve their elasticity
Signs of ageing such as loss of volume, firmness and moisture impact not only the skin, but also the genitals. Vaginal dryness can lead to a number of discomforts, including itching, pain during intercourse and urinary tract infections. However, age is not the only trigger: vaginal dryness and other intimate discomforts can also occur post-partum, following chemotherapy or radiotherapy, or in young women taking certain types of pill.

Results
Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that can retain up to 1,000 times its weight in water, providing moisturising benefits. Comfort is systematically improved after a few days, and sexual relations are significantly improved in the majority of patients.
Depending on needs, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment 3 to 6 months after the first injection. Thereafter, one injection per year will maintain the result.
During the session
An anaesthetic cream is applied prior to the treatment. A local anaesthetic is then administered, enabling the doctor to inject hyaluronic acid into the vaginal mucosa.

Pre-treatment precautions
- The 8 days before, avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatories, turmeric, vitamin C and Omega 3.
- It is preferable to avoid shaving the bikini area less than 48 hours before the session, to avoid skin irritation at the time of the injections.
Post-treatment precautions
- Avoid swimming pools, steam rooms and jacuzzis for 10 days
- Avoid sexual intercourse for 5 days
- Avoid putting pressure on the area (cycling, horse riding, etc.)
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Known sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics (lidocaine, etc.)
- Urinary tract infection, active mycosis
- A progressive cancer
- The treatment cannot be carried out during the menstrual period
