Before starting yourhair removal laserIt's essential that you come and see us. Our therapist will be able to analyse your hair growth, inform you about the process and the precautions to take before, during and after the sessions, carry out a test to set the laser parameters according to your skin type, and draw up an estimate with you according to the areas you wish to remove.

During the session
During the first half-hour, our certified therapist will take the time to fully understand your goals and expectations in terms of laser hair removal. She will explain the treatment protocol in detail and answer any questions you may have. After assessing the areas to be treated, she will provide you with a detailed estimate.
Next, a laser hair removal test will be carried out on a small part of the area to be treated. This will enable the therapist to fine-tune the laser parameters according to your skin type and the colour/thickness of your hair. The aim is to determine the ideal settings for effective hair removal while avoiding any risk of burns or skin damage.
After 24 hours, if there is no reaction, we can safely proceed to the complete treatment of the desired areas at the next appointment.

At Forever, we practicelaser hair removal for over 25 years! Our specialist therapists are qualified in laser hair removal and receive ongoing training from Dr. Polla. We provide medical supervision at all times.
Prepare your session
Session duration : 1 hour
Pre-treatment precautions
- Do not shave or wax the area to be tested
- 8 weeks before the test, avoid all UV exposure (sun, solarium) and protect yourself with sunscreen 50+.
- Do not apply self-tanner
Post-treatment precautions
- Protect treated areas from the sun with a sunscreen 50+.
- Avoid all sources of heat (saunas, hot baths, hammams, Turkish baths, etc.).
- Apply a soothing cream
- Do not do anything aggressive to the treatment area (peeling, scrubbing, horsehair gloves).
- Avoid rubbing (tight clothing, sport...)
- Underarm treatment: avoid deodorants containing alcohol
Contraindications
- Exposure to UV rays (sun, solarium) during the 2 months preceding the operation.
- Treatment for the face and abdomen/bikini area during pregnancy
- Known sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics (lidocaine, etc.) If their use proves necessary
- Taking photo-sensitising drugs, self-tanning creams
- On the area to be treated: cold sores, bacterial or viral infections, open wounds, skin infections, etc.
- Family or personal history of melanoma
- Cold urticaria
