Brown spot rejuvenation

Depending on the treatment and the area targeted, several laser sessions are often required. Improvements, such as a visible lightening of the complexion, can be seen as early as the first session. However, definitive results on spots usually appear after 2 to 3 sessions, and are fully visible 4 to 6 weeks after the last session.

After carefully removing your make-up, the laser specialist will provide you with protective eyewear. The treatment will begin with localised spots, if any. She will then proceed to a full facial treatment for overall rejuvenation, requiring several passes with the handpiece.

The sensation may be slightly uncomfortable, comparable to a tingling sensation caused by small rubber bands on the skin. You may notice redness similar to that of a sunburn, which may last from two to four hours. This redness and swelling can sometimes last longer. If specific spots have been treated, small scabs may form and last for 10 to 15 days.
