• Skin firmingPlasma Exérèse (PlexR®) induces skin shrinkage using controlled, localised heat, smoothing out folds caused by excess skin.
• Medical blepharoplasty PlexR® can be used to correct drooping eyelids, when the skin is slightly slack or wrinkled. It can also be used to make a slight correction after blepharoplasty or to maintain the results of surgery.
• Dermatological procedures PlexR® can treat Xanthelasma (yellowish-coloured fat deposits) and certain types of scarring (stretch marks, keloids, etc.).

It may be necessary to repeat the treatment; optimal results are obtained between 1 and 3 sessions, and the effect can last up to 2 years. If recommended by your doctor, an annual maintenance session will help to maintain long-term results.

An anaesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated about 1 hour before the session to avoid pain.

During the session, the practitioner uses the handpiece of the PlexR device, which emits a very high-temperature ionising current (plasma) when it is close to the skin, without coming into contact with it.

Carried out point by point, this plasma vaporises the surface layer of the skin in a highly localised and precise manner.

Treatment with PlexR requires a few days' social absence due to oedema (swelling of the treated area), which generally lasts between 48 and 72 hours. In some cases, the redness may last longer. Small crusts also form on the surface of the skin and remain for a few days. It is essential to avoid exposure to the sun for as long as the marks are present. We supply special SKIN COVER cream, which should be applied until the scabs come off naturally.
