• Rapid healing The Genius device delivers radiofrequency energy directly into the subcutaneous tissue to a depth of 3.5mm. This prevents thermal damage to the surface of the skin and ensures faster healing.

A treatment consists of two to three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.

The Genius™ session can be customised according to age, skin type, sun exposure habits, anatomical area, tissue thickness and depth. Depending on the thickness of the skin, two to five passes will be made over the treated area at different depths (2 mm, 1.6 mm and 1 mm).

The Genius™ platform provides real-time information throughout the treatment to check that the needles are penetrating to the precise depth required and that all the energy has been delivered.

Genius™ radiofrequency heats the skin at the dermis to a temperature of 65 - 70 degrees. The micro-needles create a large number of coagulation zones, which has the effect of kick-starting the skin's repair process.

The Genius™ treatment is painful, so an anaesthetic cream is applied to the areas to be treated 1 hour before the session. Following treatment, the skin will show some redness and slight swelling, which may persist for a few days; social avoidance is not compulsory, but may be preferred for around 3 days.

The Genius™ treatment can be combined with PRP or the Lase® to optimise results.
