During the session
A small amount of fat is removed using mini-liposuction. After filtration, a liquid rich in stem cells and growth factors is obtained. The solution obtained is immediately injected into the tissues to be regenerated.
Results
The results of nanofat injections generally appear gradually. Full results are generally seen after three to six months. It is during this period that the stem cells present in the nanofat take full effect in regenerating the tissues.
Good to know
The use of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can improve comfort during treatment. In the hours following liposuction, liquid (saline from the infiltration) may drain from the wounds. Swelling and redness may appear, generally for 2 to 4 days, but these symptoms should not last more than a week. Small bruises may also form on the donor areas, with maximum resorption within a week.

Pre-treatment precautions
- To minimise the risk of bruising, it is advisable to avoid blood-thinning substances in the days leading up to your appointment. This includes anti-inflammatories, aspirin and supplements such as turmeric, omega-3 and vitamin C.
Post-treatment precautions
- Avoid exposure to the sun and heat for the first few hours after injections.
- Do not bathe or wash the injected area for 12 hours after treatment. Showering is permitted.
- Avoid swimming pools (risk of infection), jacuzzis and saunas for a week after treatment.
Contraindications
- Known sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics (lidocaine, etc.)
- Anti-coagulants, aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics.
- Coagulation abnormalities such as: abnormal platelet function, critical thrombocytopenia, haemophilia.
- On the area to be treated: cold sores (herpes), bacterial or viral infections, open wounds, skin infections.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Chronic liver disease, severe metabolic disorders.
