The brown spots that appear on the face, neck, décolleté, back, arms and hands are often all confused and called "age spots". But it's not that simple. There are different types of brown spots - lentigos, moles, melasmas, ephelides, seborrhoeic keratoses, HPPI - and therefore different ways of treating them.
