The Rolls Royce of vascular lasers
Redness and dilated vessels on the face and body affect a large majority of the population, both men and women. The cause can be hereditary, hormonal, linked to sun exposure or ageing. Thanks to the V-Beam Perfecta laser, it is possible to erase these unsightly imperfections to reveal healthy, younger-looking skin.
Benefits
- Reduces spider veins, redness, angiomas and rosaceathe VBeam vascular laser destroys blood vessels in the dermis, thereby eliminating them
Results
The V Beam vascular laser destroys the blood vessels in the dermis, eliminating all unsightly lesions (stretch marks, spider veins, rosacea, angiomas, etc.).
The appearance of the majority of treated spider veins improves considerably within two to six weeks of treatment. Over time, a few new spider veins may become visible; these are treated in the same way.
During the session
During a laser session, you will need to wear glasses to protect your eyes from the light. The laser therapist or doctor scans the area to be treated (between 1 and 3 passes) using a handpiece, which emits the laser light beam.
The vascular laser works by producing a pulse of laser light that is selectively captured by the lesion to be treated without causing damage to the surrounding tissue.
Good to know
Your skin may feel reddened, as if sunburnt, for two to four hours. The redness and swelling may persist for a little longer. After the V Beam laser session, a black trace (purpura) will appear in the place of each impact; this will turn burgundy red or brown in the following days and disappear in 1 to 2 weeks. A thin crust may also appear on specific spots, lasting between 10 and 15 days.
